          Number 1 Gallery Bangkok is proud to present Beyond Desire by Manit Srisuwan. Since humanity first populated the planet we have been in the grasp of our own suffering. Like a punctured heart, our perpetual affliction is that of desire and rapacity for betterment. Longer life expectancy and an assumption of material ‘fulfilment’ ultimately delivers pain and servitude. Manit still believes that art can serve to remind the individual of the futility of such waywardness, and bring awareness toward an alternate path
